Large Oval Frame

Description

Upon receiving an order, Allison traces the child’s profile then adds embellishments by hand. For girls, Allison typically adds a fancier collar or a hairbow.  Boys could get a collar or a favorite hat.  All children get longer and more pronounced eyelashes.

After approval, the silhouette is then set in a thin oval frame to be hung directly on a wall.  The negative space will show the wall behind it and is most striking when hung on a light-colored wall.  To avoid the view of the wall, consider adding a painted oval backing on another 1/8” plywood board.
